The L Word Cruise

November 3: Cozumel/Playa Del Carmen, Mexico

We've arrived in Cozumel, Mexico. The cast and crew left the ship today.

The rest of this travelogue will focus on the cruise since TLW has completed their work.

We took a 45 minute ferry from Cozumel to Playa Del Carmen. This thing rocked as bad as the whale watch boats in Provincetown! It was horrible. The town of Play del Carmen was very charming.

We visited the Mayan ruin of Tulum today. Fabulous stuff. We love history, and this is over 1000 years old.

There is soooo much to do on these cruises. Olivia makes sure if you are looking for an activity, there are plenty of choices. At some point (this afternoon for us), you've got to just throw up your hands and realize you can't do it all. I took a two hour nap, and I needed it.

Catie Curtis performed tonight with Julie Wolf. I LOVE Catie's music. If I haven't already mentioned it, I'm going to be interviewing her AND Jane Lynch. I hope to get both on Friday, tomorrow, our "day at sea" on our way back to Tampa.

We dropped a little bit of money in the casino, but it was fun, so what the hell!
