Jenny returns home to find Tim gathering her belongings in trash bags. As she regales him with stories of her journey, he reveals that all he ever expected of her was honesty. When he offers her another opportunity to be truthful about her affair with Marina, Jenny lies, prompting him to kick her out. She arrives at The Planet, dirty and disheveled, to ask Marina for assistance. Marina agrees to let Jenny go to her house to clean up. Shane continues to find professional success thanks to the efforts of Harry Samchuck. He rewards her with the use of his yacht on which she plans a massive party. Tina and Bette bore the group with endless details about the physical ramifications of Tina's pregnancy. Despite their skepticism, the girls attend a spiritual ceremony intended to bestow blessings on the baby. Concerned by Bette and Tina's contentment with domesticity, Alice, Dana, and Shane stage an "intervention" to draw Bette and Tina out of their "boring" rut. Kit receives a call from David and agrees to meet with him. Dana's manager, Conrad, reviews the terms of her Subaru contract with her, particularly the "lifestyle" clause. He tells her, in so many words, that in order to be commercially viable, she needs to pass herself off as straight. While waiting to be seated at a restaurant, Lara's passionate public display of affection makes Dana incredibly uncomfortable. She explains her concerns about being outed and continually feeling judged by Lara for being in the closet. She finally declares that she doesn't want to be with Lara and leaves the restaurant in tears. Lisa continues his seduction of Alice much to the amusement of Bette and Tina. While caught up in a passionate moment, Lisa reveals his intention to use a sex toy on Alice, which prompts Alice to take charge of the situation leaving Lisa satisfied but confused. A distraught Dana arrives at the party and drowns her sorrow with lots of drinks and dancing which comes back to haunt her later, while Jenny and Marina enjoy the openness of the environment. After clandestinely slinking away from the party to return to their state of domestic bliss, Tina assures Bette that she considers her to be "the most exciting woman in all of Los Angeles". Bette, however, seems unconvinced. The next morning, as the girls bemoan Bette and Tina's absence and Shane reveals her preference for going home with "the same person you've been in love with for seven years", Jenny asks Marina if she can stay with her. Marina indicates that she would be "honored" but reveals that the impending arrival of her girlfriend, Francesca, whose existence was heretofore unknown to Jenny, would make that impossible. While Marina insists that she has actually done Jenny a favor by "opening up her world" the dishonesty and betrayal prompt Jenny to flee Marina's home and return to Tim, who allows her to stay in her writing studio for the night. Kit enlists Bette to accompany her to her meeting with David. Kit assures Bette that she has her drinking under control and expresses envy at Bette's togetherness in both her professional and personal lives. Sensing Bette's uneasiness, Kit assures her that she is just experiencing stress over the responsibility of serving as the provider for the family. During a Subaru photo shoot, Dana catches a glimpse of Lara walking the grounds of the country club but does not reach out to her. Following the shoot, the ad executives reveal their campaign intended to position Dana as the "gay Anna Kournikova" which thrills Dana and prompts her to fire Conrad. Ivan Cermak...
